Most places can be reached by public transport but it could be more practical
to have a car (we can arrange one for you). Lunch facilities are always available or
we can have a picnic.

1 Fontainbleau
Forest of Fontainebleau, with its micro-climate and impressive birch forest and
Renaissance Castle, built by King François I. The village of Barbizon, where
Millet and other painters of late 19th c. lived.

2 Van Gogh's village, Auvers sur Oise
